War of the Worlds Goliath 3D 2012. Fifteen years after the first Martian invasion, humanity rebuilds using salvaged alien technology. An international defense force called A.R.E.S. forms to protect Earth. Pilots operate Tripod war machines reverse-engineered from Martian walkers. The A.R.E.S. team includes Eric Wells, a veteran of the first war, and a multinational crew. Mars launches a second invasion with new weapons including a massive Goliath Tripod. The defense force fights Martian aircraft and walkers across the globe. They engage the Goliath in a final battle over New York. Humanity prevails again.
