In the film The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part 3D 2019, five years after the Duplo invasion, Apocalypseburg is a gritty wasteland. When a new alien from the Systar System kidnaps Emmet's friends, including Lucy, he must travel across the cosmos to rescue them. In the vibrant and musical Systar System, Emmet meets the charming but possibly villainous Queen Watevra Wa'Nabi. Meanwhile, Lucy and the captives suspect a wedding plot that could trigger an apocalyptic event called the "Our-Mom-ageddon," forcing Emmet to grow beyond his simple optimism to outsmart the Queen and save both Lego worlds.
