In the film Priest 3D 2011, in a post-apocalyptic world ruled by a theocratic Church, humanity lives in fortified cities after centuries of war with vampires. A veteran Warrior Priest breaks his vow of peace when his niece is kidnapped by a vampiric horde. Defying the Church authorities, he partners with a young sheriff and a warrior nun. Their pursuit leads them into the barren wastelands, where they discover the attack was orchestrated by a powerful former priest turned vampire, Black Hat, who plans to unleash a new war against humanity and the Church that betrayed him.
