In the film Hercules 3D 2014, the demigod Hercules, haunted by his past, leads a band of mercenaries who sell their skills for gold. He is hired by the King of Thrace to train his army to defeat a savage warlord. Using his mythic reputation as a psychological weapon, Hercules forges the raw recruits into a formidable force. After their victory, he discovers the king is the true tyrant, planning to conquer all of Greece. Betrayed, Hercules and his companions must turn the very army they trained against their former employer to free the people and fulfill his destiny as a true hero.
