Monster Trucks 3D 2016 follows high school student Tripp who builds a monster truck from recycled car parts found in a landfill. Living in a dull tiny town he sees the truck as his way to escape gray everyday life. After an accident at a nearby oil rig Tripp discovers a strange underground creature with a passion for speed. The creature has tentacles and can move through pipes and underground tunnels. It hides in the engine compartment of his truck and controls the vehicle when Tripp drives. Tripp names the creature Creech. An oil company scientist tries to capture Creech for experiments. Tripp and his friend Meredith must protect the creature while avoiding capture. This film combines live action with CGI creature animation.
