Space Station 3D 2002 is the first 3D film shot in outer space. Viewers travel in low Earth orbit around the International Space Station the most significant space project of the twenty first century. Sixteen countries including Russia participated in creating this space laboratory. The film follows astronauts as they assemble the station perform spacewalks and conduct scientific experiments. Cameras mounted on the station exterior show Earth from orbit and the vastness of space. The documentary covers construction of modules such as Zarya Unity and Destiny. Astronauts demonstrate how they live work and sleep in microgravity. This production offers a view from inside the station during its early assembly years.
