Arthur Christmas 3D 2011 reveals how Santa Claus delivers gifts to all children on Earth in one night. The operation takes place from a massive high tech spaceship hidden at the North Pole. Santa the current gift giver uses a team of thousands of elves and advanced technology to navigate rooftops and chimneys. His older son Steve coordinates the mission from Mission Control. The younger son Arthur handles letters from children believing Santa still uses magic and a sleigh. When one childs gift is accidentally missed Arthur takes his grandfathers old wooden sleigh and reindeer to deliver the present personally before sunrise. This animated film shows the logistics behind the centuries old tradition and how two different approaches to gift giving collide.
