In the film Mad Max: Fury Road 3D 2015, Imperator Furiosa betrays the tyrannical Immortan Joe, smuggling his five wives out of the Citadel in a heavily armored war rig. Pursued by Joe's entire army across a vast desert, she forges an alliance with the captive Max Rockatansky and a redeemed War Boy named Nux. Their desperate flight leads them to Furiosa's presumed homeland, only to find it a poisoned swamp. Forced to turn back, they launch a daring assault on the Citadel itself, engaging in a colossal vehicular battle to overthrow Joe and claim a future for the survivors.
