Tai Chi Zero 3D 2012 follows Yang Luchan a martial artist who grows a horn on his forehead whenever he practices kung fu. He travels to Chen Village seeking a cure for his condition. The villagers refuse to teach him their legendary Tai Chi skills fearing outsiders. A corporation plans to build a railroad through the village threatening their way of life. Luchan proves himself by defending villagers from monsters and bandits. He learns the mythical Chen style Tai Chi and uses it to destroy the corporations steam powered machine. This film combines action humor and steampunk elements.
