The Nutcracker and the Four Realms 3D 2018 follows young Clara who receives a wooden Nutcracker doll from her parents. At midnight she is transported to a fantasy world where a war rages between gingerbread soldiers and a mouse army. She learns that the Nutcracker is a soldier cursed by the Mouse King. Clara must travel through four realms to find a key that can fix a mechanism keeping the worlds in balance. She discovers that the realm ruler Mother Ginger is actually a villain who wants power. Clara restores the mechanism and returns home.
