Taza Son of Cochise 3D 1954 follows the two sons of Apache chief Cochise. Taza advocates peaceful coexistence with white people who live on their land. His younger brother Naiche joins Geronimo on the warpath against settlers. The brothers have conflicting views on how to respond to the encroachment on Apache territory. Taza tries to maintain the peace treaty his father signed. Naiche attacks wagon trains and military outposts. Taza must track down his brother and stop the violence before the army destroys the entire tribe. This Western was shot on location in Utah and presents a positive view of Native Americans which was rare for 1950s Hollywood films. Rock Hudson stars as Taza with Jeff Chandler appearing as Cochise.
