Ready Player One 3D 2018. In 2045, Wade Watts escapes his bleak existence in the Columbus "stacks" by entering the OASIS, a vast virtual reality universe . Upon the death of its creator James Halliday, a contest is announced: the first user to find a hidden Easter egg will inherit Halliday's fortune and control of the OASIS . Wade's avatar Parzival teams up with fellow player Art3mis to win the contest . They must defeat the powerful corporation IOI, led by Nolan Sorrento, which seeks to seize the OASIS for profit. The quest becomes a high-stakes race through a world filled with 1980s pop culture references.
