Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 3D 2017. The Guardians are now known across the galaxy. Rocket steals batteries from the Sovereign, forcing the team to crash-land. They are rescued by Ego, who reveals he is Peter Quill‘s father. Ego takes them to his planet. The others discover Ego plans to terraform the universe using Peter‘s celestial powers. Yondu helps the Guardians escape. Yondu sacrifices himself to save Peter. The team defeats Ego. They honor Yondu at a Ravager funeral. The Guardians continue their journey together.
