Walking with Dinosaurs 3D 2013 follows Patchi a young Pachyrhinosaurus who embarks on an epic journey through the Late Cretaceous period. Patchi is the smaller weaker sibling compared to his larger brother Scowler. The film shows dinosaur battles predators attacks and the migration of their herd across ancient North America. Patchi must survive natural disasters including forest fires and floods. He faces threats from Gorgosaurs and other carnivores. A female dinosaur named Juniper joins him on the journey. Patchi proves that size is not the only factor in survival. The film combines CGI animation with educational content about dinosaur species behaviors and environments. This family friendly spectacle moves from prehistoric forests to coastal plains as Patchi leads his herd to nesting grounds.
