Rio 2 3D 2014 follows Blu Jewel and their three children as they journey into the Amazon rainforest. They discover a hidden paradise and reunite with Jewels long lost family. Nigel the villainous cockatoo from the first film seeks revenge and threatens their new home. Blu struggles to fit in with a wild tribe of macaws who see him as domesticated and clumsy. He must protect his family from Nigels evil plans involving his new sidekick Gabi a poisonous frog. The film celebrates family love and biodiversity with musical numbers and lively animation. Blu learns valuable lessons about acceptance and conservation.
