Shrek the Third 3D 2007 follows Shrek who faces unexpected responsibility as heir to the throne of Far Far Away after King Harold passes away. Uncomfortable with ruling Shrek sets out to find the rightful heir Fionas long lost cousin Arthur. Prince Charming seizes the opportunity to stage a coup and take control of the kingdom. Shrek joined by Donkey and Puss in Boots embarks on a journey to find Arthur and convince him to accept the throne. Arthur does not want to be king at first. Shrek learns that being a father is a different kind of responsibility. The film explores self discovery leadership and embracing ones unique qualities.
