Hotel Transylvania 3D 2012 follows Count Dracula who builds a lavish resort called Hotel Transylvania as a sanctuary for monsters away from humans. On his daughter Mavis 118th birthday Dracula invites famous monsters including Frankensteins monster the Mummy and the Invisible Man. A young human traveler named Jonathan accidentally discovers the hotel. Dracula disguises Jonathan as a monster to avoid alarming the guests. Mavis falls for Jonathan but Dracula tries to hide the truth from her. The monsters discover Jonathan is human and panic. Dracula admits he built the hotel to protect Mavis from the human world. Jonathan teaches Dracula that not all humans are dangerous and Mavis learns to trust her own judgment.
