Sword Master 3D 2016 follows Yan Shisan a master swordsman who seeks to defeat Xie Xiaofeng the only fighter better than him. Xiaofengs father claims his son has died and shows a grave. Disappointed and having lost his purpose Yan Shisan plunges into drunkenness and decides to commit suicide. He chooses a coffin and a place at a cemetery but a local peasant stops him. Yan learns that Xie Xiaofeng may still be alive living in hiding. The two masters eventually meet for a final duel in a bamboo forest. This wuxia film explores obsession honor and the loneliness of being the best swordsman.
