My Bloody Valentine 3D 2009 follows Tom Hanniger a former miner who returns to his hometown ten years after a mining accident he caused. That accident trapped and killed several men. Upon his return a serial killer wearing a miners mask begins murdering locals. The killer uses pickaxes and other mining tools as weapons. Tom must uncover the killers identity while facing suspicion from the townspeople who blame him for the original disaster. The story unfolds during Valentines Day weekend as the body count rises. Toms ex girlfriend Sarah and her husband Axel the current sheriff become involved in the investigation. The killer may be someone presumed dead or someone close to them.
