Mr Go 3D 2013 follows Weiwei whose grandfather the owner of a Chinese circus dies. She stays alone with a gorilla named Lingling who was taught to play baseball by her grandfather. A TV report about the gorillas unusual abilities leads to an offer for Lingling to participate in the Korean baseball championship. Weiwei agrees without hesitation and travels to South Korea. Lingling becomes a star pitcher with incredible speed and accuracy. The gorilla helps a struggling team win games. Weiwei forms a deep bond with the animal. They face challenges from a rival team and corporate interests. This film explores friendship between human and animal alongside South Koreas passion for baseball.
