Iceman 3D 2014 follows Ming a captain of the Imperial Guard during the Ming Dynasty who is falsely accused of betrayal and murder. Guards pursue him but they are buried under an avalanche of snow for three hundred years. Frozen soldiers are discovered and sent to Hong Kong for study. They thaw out and Ming escapes from the research facility. The chase resumes as the guards hunt him through modern Hong Kong streets and skyscrapers. Ming must adapt to contemporary technology and society while trying to clear his name. The film combines historical martial arts with fish out of water comedy as a sixteenth century warrior encounters cars elevators and guns while his former enemies continue their mission.
