The Mad Magician 3D 1954. Magician Don Gallico invents illusions for others but dreams of stardom. His promoter Ross Ormond halts Gallico's debut using a contract that grants Ormond ownership of all his tricks. Ormond plans to sell Gallico's buzzsaw illusion to the famous magician Rinaldi. Gallico also learns Ormond stole his wife Claire. Enraged, Gallico decapitates Ormond with the real buzzsaw. A master of disguise, Gallico assumes Ormond's identity. He kills Claire when she recognizes him. Gallico later murders Rinaldi and impersonates him. Police detective Bruce uses fingerprint evidence to track the killer. The mystery author Alice Prentiss realizes Gallico is the murderer. They confront Gallico at his laboratory. Gallico falls into his own crematorium furnace and dies.
