How to Train Your Dragon 3D 2010 follows Hiccup a young Viking on the island of Berk where dragons are a constant threat. He shoots down a Night Fury a rare dragon using a device he created. Hiccup finds the dragon wounded and names it Toothless instead of killing it. He befriends the dragon and learns that dragons are not the enemy but have complex personalities. Hiccup trains Toothless secretly and discovers that dragons only attack because they are forced by giant dragons. He proves to his tribe that understanding and cooperation can conquer fear. Hiccup leads the Vikings to defeat the giant dragon and bring peace between humans and dragons transforming Berk into a haven where both live side by side.
