Ne Zha 3D 2019 follows the Heavenly Lord who subdues a demon born from the Pearl of Chaos dividing it into the Pearl of Spirit and Pearl of Demon. The immortal Taiyi is ordered to ensure the Pearl of Spirit is reborn as the third son of ruler Li Jing named Nezha. The Pearl of Demon is fated to be destroyed by lightning in three years. Another immortal Yang Wei steals the Pearl of Spirit before birth so the demon pearl possesses the baby. Nezha immediately causes chaos throwing fireballs at the population. Li Jing places a golden pacifying collar on him and keeps him inside the palace. Nezha discovers his demon origin but learns he can choose his own destiny. He sacrifices himself to save others from the lightning curse.
