Epic 3D 2013 follows a teenager named Mary Katherine who is transported to a deep forest where a battle between forces of good and evil is taking place. She shrinks to the size of tiny creatures called Leafmen who protect the forest from decaying Boggans. Mary Katherine teams with a rag tag group including a leafman named Nod and a slug named Mub. She discovers that her missing father has spent years searching for these tiny warriors. The Boggans led by Mandrake plan to destroy the forest by killing the Queen who maintains the balance of life. Mary Katherine must help the Leafmen protect the Queen and save both the forest world and the human world. This animated film is based on William Joyces childrens book The Leaf Men and the Brave Good Bugs.
